Walking by Faith...

To walk by faith and not by sight is to regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things with trust and holy fervor. Believing that what we are asking God for, will come to pass without seeing any evidence or signs. For we walk by faith and not by sight 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Walking by faith is trusting God that He will bring our hearts desire to pass. Often times it is difficult to believe when all the signs around you are contrary to what God has said. So the solution to that is to fine tune God's voice in your life. Silence the argument on the inside and you will gain victory over the enemy when he tries to deter you from believing God. Take every negative thought or every thought that is contrary to God's word captive and cast them down. This can be done by studying the word for yourself and knowing it. 2 Timothy 2 :15

Addressing unbelief is the first step to recieve what God has promised you. How can you believe when you are walking in doubt? Be honest with yourself and God is key to moving forward to victory. Sometimes the toughest part is being honest with yourself about personal struggles. God already knows when we are not honest; He is waiting for us to confess it to Him.

As you grow in your walk with God, there will be levels of faith you will go through. Everything will not come so easily. God wants you to totally rely on Him for everything. That can be a scary thing for some people. But the word of God says, God did not give us the spirit of fear, but love, power, and a sound mind! 2 Timothy 1:7

Faith is written on our hearts by God. It is the asssurance and confidence that what you are expecting or hoping for will come to past no matter how impossible it looks. Trust me I have a lot of impossible situations but I know God is able to do exceedingly abudundantly above all that I ask or think. I've learned that it takes faith to please God and He gives it to us freely. So that is why I seek God with my whole heart and he strengthens my faith.

Once you receive faith from God, live it out. How do you live out the faith God has given you? Living by faith means to become fully aware that God has a plan for your life and you must align your life according to His plan. In God's plan there is provision. Trusting God to meet all your needs is walking by faith. There are so many benefits to walking by faith. One, is the peace of God. So put God first in everything you do and He will make the path of your life great!
